After a pretty full Sk8 summer season the Yeti is preparing for the upcoming winter season and is training already its freeski and snowboard skills. To share this with as many kids as possible, the Yeti is happy to invite you to an autumn training camp at Hintertux, Tirol, in cooperation with the Ästhetiker and World Snowboard Federation.

After a great start 2024 the second World Rookie Camp Hintertux presented by Ästhetiker & World Snowboard Federation, will take place from 12^th to the 16^th of November at Hintertuxer Gletscher, Tirol. The Camp is open for snowboard and freeski and for all ages. Riders from all over the world have the chance to get training possibilities shortly before the season together with many other in a perfectly prepared park and pipe. Coaches and parents are welcome as well. For riders without coaches the legendary Ästhetiker crew is offering coaching and will share their long-term experience with you.

The program of the Park & Pipe Camp will include as well a Rail Session on Sunday which will give points already for the Rookie Rank FS and SNB, free entry to the World Rookie Final FS & SNB for best Girl and Best Boy (free accommodation, lift tickets and entry fee) and it will be the qualification for the Rock a Rail Innsbruck (top 3 Boys + top 3 Girls).  

Additionally, many lifestyle activities like a visit in the Spannagelhöhle, sk8ting & trampoline in the Kaboom Hall Kaltenbach or a WSF Zero Workshop presented by the World Snowboard Federation are planned.

During the whole camp filmers and photographers will capture your riding and the footage will be available for all participants. To have your own content for your channels prepared for the season.

ABOUT THE WORLD ROOKIE TOUR: The World Rookie Tour is organized by the Black Yeti ssrl in collaboration with World Snowboard Federation, National Snowboard, Ski and Skateboard Associations, and selected action sports agencies. It was born in 2005 as a series of youth snowboard events and it consists now of a selection of high-quality International events for snowboard, Freeski, Skateboard and Surf, the so-called “Rookie Fests”, reserved for riders under 18’s only, in Europe, North and South America, Oceania and Asia. The World Rookie Tour consists not only of competitions: it also features loads of other activities to help rookies to grow in the field of professional action sports, such as photo & video shootings, avalanche, and rescue clinics, meetings with photographers, and international team managers, parties and English talks. Since year zero, it awards tickets to world-class events such as X Games Norway, Audi Nines, The Arctic Challenge, The Air & Style, The World Snowboarding Championships, Red Bull Roller Coaster, Simple Session, Mystic Sk8 Cup, invitations to professional photo & video shootings, and shooting trip all around the world. Every year the tour crowns the World Rookie Champions at the end of the season, during the World Rookie Finals, a unique event format where the best youngsters from almost 30 countries compete and have fun. ABOUT THE WORLD SNOWBOARD FEDERATION: WSF, founded in 2002 in Prague and located in Innsbruck, Austria since 2027, is the world’s umbrella organization for snowboarding with a membership comprising 43 national snowboard associations and promoters of snowboard events across the globe. ABOUT ÄSTHETIKER: The Ästhetiker started organising grassroots events in their early days. Old dogs might still remember the Ästhetiker Jams, Shred Downs, the infamous Wängl Tängls and the Ästhetiker Winter MÄsh. Those hÄppenings comprised snowboarding team competitions on highest world class level and the contests were famous for their creative and unique setups. Most events combined snowboarding with skateboarding contests, music gigs and off course, the legendary Ästhetiker parties. In 2013, the Ästhetiker organised the very first Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY snowboard tour with four stages all across their home of choice: the Zillertal. Since the first year, the grassroots coaching and slopestyle contest tour has been continously growing. Today the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY attracts young riders from all over Europe to show off in the best snowparks of the valley. The Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato & Ride Snowboards has been the admission ticket to professional snowboarding, World Cups and even the Olympics for many young riders.
