With its location at over 3,200 meters above sea level, the Betterpark Hintertux is the highest freestyle spot in Austria and has been a popular meeting place for national and international snowboarders and freeskiers for over 15 years. The dedicated park crew prepares jumps, rails and boxes twice a day to guarantee ultimate freestyle fun in XXL format. With its opening times from April to the beginning of June and mid-September to December, the Betterpark Hintertux is the first and last snowpark of the season and thus attracts even more freestylers who can’t get enough of cool sessions.

Numerous events have also become an integral part of the legendary location at the foot of the Olperer: With the Hotzone.tv Park Opening, Betterpark Hintertux always hosts Europe’s first snowpark opening on the first weekend in October. These days full of action, party and news are not to be missed! The tour stop of the Välley Rälley is also a must-see in the Betterpark once a year. At the contests in the Big Air, Slopestyle or Rail disciplines, attractive prizes await the winners of the individual categories.

In the last 15 years the Betterpark Hintertux has become an established institution and the Hintertux Glacier cannot be imagined without it. The snow park will continue to delight snowboarders and freeskiers in the future with its perfectly groomed kickers and varied rails. In the next few years, the range of parks will be expanded to include simpler obstacles, so that every guest on the Hintertux Glacier will be able to sniff the freestyle air.
